Student Services

All participating universities in the IMMIT programme have a long history in international relations and have qualified, multi-lingual staff dedicated to welcoming and supporting international students.

For each destination, students will find:

  • Assistance with visa applications and obtaining a resident permit, plus information on all administrative procedures (incl. health and liability insurance and opening a bank account)
  •  Assistance with accommodation in Tilburg, Aix-en-Provence and Turku, so you can focus on your studies and the cultural experience of living in three exciting European cities
  •  Kick-off event and introduction activities, enabling you to get used to university life in each city quickly
  •  Mentor system to facilitate the daily life of the students (e.g. how to take use public transportation, find the shops, etc.) as well as the academic life (library, register for exams, contact with professors, etc.)
  •  French language courses at IAE-Aix, Finnish language courses at Turku and Dutch language courses at Tilburg, so ample opportunities to brush up your language skills

More detailed information that is available for IMMIT students can be found in the IMMIT Student Handbook, a joint Handbook that contains information about services from all three universities.
