  • Candidates must have good proficiency of English (IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 on the parts or TOEFL paper based 575/TOEFL Internet based 90/91)
  • An official copy of your GMAT test. The average GMAT score of accepted students at IMMIT is 600. Or an official copy of your GRE test score. Our incoming students usually score above the 75% percentile on the quantitative section, above the 50% percentile on the verbal section and above 25% on the AWA section. Note: Students with a relevant Bachelor degree from one of the partner institutions of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Tilburg, Turku School of Economics or IAE School of Management do not need to submit the GMAT/GRE test score to be admitted to the programme. A GMAT/GRE is however required in case a student wants to qualify for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship).

Qualitative criteria include:

  • Marks obtained in the bachelor studies (must be above average)
  • Quality/recognition of home institution having awarded the first degree
  • The strength of the statement of purpose, in other words motivation to study IMMIT
  • CV including extra-curricular activities (especially those associated with cross-cultural/international experiences

How to apply?

The IMMIT Admission Board will start the assessment of your application only after receiving the complete set of the following documents:

  • A printed copy of the completed and signed application form (available online)
  • A printed copy of the completed and signed Appendix (available online)
  • All other required documents as requested in Appendix.

Those applying for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship must mark the corresponding box in the Appendix. Therefore no separate application for the Erasmus Mundus scholarships is needed.

Selection process

The consortium will allocate the EM scholarships by using a ranking based on the previously mentioned criteria and specific criteria set by the Erasmus Mundus Agency. An interview with pre-questionnaire may also be part of the selection procedure.

The IMMIT Admission Board expects to be able to communicate to applicants whether they have been accepted for the IMMIT programme and whether they have been awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship in April 2010.

Note: A GMAT/GRE is compulsory for all students who wish to qualify for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. This also applies to students from partner universities.
